Starring “The Star of the North,” aka Yo Oizumi, “The Mister Not-Quite of the North,” aka Shigeyuki Sato, and “The Iron Stomach,” aka HTB announcer Mami Sato, this show follows the journey of the “Pig Family” as they go around Japan in search of the most delicious and scrumptious foods in the country. Riding in their Onigiri box car, they go from town to town, stopping by to eat, and then riding again until their next destination. To relieve the stress of traveling and the tension of their stomachs, the cast also goes full force with their hilarious conversations and occasional recreation stops. Make sure to catch Oizumi’s music videos where he sings his favorite songs at beautiful landmarks. A gourmet food fight and a totally new kind of food entertainment show coming straight out of Hokkaido – this is Onigiri. You can enjoy the show not just for its local topics about Hokkaido but also as a guide for popular food and travel spots all over Japan. The second half of the show follows the comedy duo, Oklahoma (Kawano and Fujio), as they go on their journey to promote Onigiri at every single town in Hokkaido. Kawano and Fujio go on separate routes to promote the show, each of them using bingo to decide their next destination. Their method of transportation – hitchhiking. Once they reach their destinations, they either go to a Lawson convenience store to put up the show’s poster there, or if the town doesn’t have a Lawson, they go to the most popular place in town. When will they conquer Hokkaido?

Miko grew up at the child nursing home. She has being trained to be a sister, but always fails. She was about to leave for Rome as apprenticeship when Mabuchi, the manager of the popular visual band group “A.N.JELL” visited the monastery. He asked Miko to singed the contract with the agency instead of Mio; Miko’s twin brother. Mio has been selected at a new member of “A.N.JELL” and needs to sign the paper, but he can’t show up at the office today. So Mabuchi wants to Miko to be in place of Mio only for today. Miko was taken to the office and signed the paper in front of Ando, the president of the agency. At that time, other members of “A.N.JELL” , Ren, Shu and Yuki came into the room and insist that they won’t accept if Miko (Mio’s ) as a new member if his singer skill is not enough. Ren forced Miko to sing in front of the member. She sings anthem and her voice is as an angel. Ando praises Miko’s voice. Miko is relieved that everything seems good and leaving for Rome. However, Mabuchi begs Miho to stay for 3 months as Mio. He confessed that Mio was involved in a fight and broke his nose. It will take three months to recover. Miko rejected this offer as first, but changed her mind after she hears that the reason why Mio wants to be a singer is because he is expects his mother who disappeared will find him once he become famous. Miko accepts to be a member of “A.N.JELL” in place of Mio. And her life as a “A.N.JELL” starts with other members. What will happen next? Can she survive among there beautiful boys?
